High schoolers from India get a chance to be a part of a modern approach to experiencing leadership, brought to the students by HARVARD Pair and Muniversiti in India. Aspiring leaders of tomorrow can find guidance and inspiration in the Harvard Youth leadership programs, which is designed to help them bring out the best in themselves. Participating in real-world leadership challenges, conducting self-evaluations, and receiving 360-degree feedback from your mentors and peers will help you become a more adaptable leader who can mobilize others.

Students who successfully complete the Harvard Youth Leadership Programme receive certifications from the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations and Muniversiti.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Throughout this four-week leadership program, you will delve deep into the expert insights of academicians and industry leaders, gaining a thorough understanding of the various concepts that make up effective leadership. Each week, you will embark on engaging activities in small groups with your fellow cohort members, where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate and come up with innovative solutions to problems posed. From honing your communication and collaboration skills to navigating change and tackling challenges, this program is designed to help you become a confident and capable leader.

  • Marketing Maverick

(This activity is the tool that will help students in putting their creative abilities to use by assisting them in selecting the most effective strategies used to convince an audience. Their ability to make decisions will be enhanced through this activity.)

  • Submission of a self-recorded video of the academic simulation (Government)
  • Group discussion in teams of 6, discussing the case #2 and the task of the week.
  • Impact Challenge

(Impact Challenges require participants to use their knowledge and skills to help solve a problem statement. In small, interdisciplinary teams, students will investigate the problem, design solutions, and present them.)

  • Submission of a self-recorded video of the academic simulation (Social Cause)
  • Group discussion in teams of 6, discussing the case #3 and the task of the week
  • Electoral Campaign

(Students will get the chance to hone their leadership skills when they are split into groups and tasked with identifying problems, conceptualizing solutions and crafting campaigns and manifesto to amplify the needs of their peers.)

  • Submission of a self recorded video of the academic simulation (International Relations)
  • Group discussion in teams of 6, discussing the case #4 and the task of the week.
  • Group Interview for final assessment
